Committed Artists is dedicated to making a difference in the lives of Australia’s Indigenous youth, through exposure to and participation in the arts, education and sport.

For over 20 years their founder has facilitated attendance at theatre, music, dance, sport and film productions, as well as cross cultural meetings between artists, athletes, community members and activists.

From Amajuba: Like Doves We Rise, to the Australian Ballet and Bangarra Dance Theatre, Black Medea, Bran Nue Day, Circus Oz, Conversations With The Dead, Daryl Jones (Rolling Stones), Disney On Ice, Djakapurra Munyarryunn, Jane Elliott, Jesus Christ Superstar, Johnny Clegg, Jon Stevens, John Waters, Judith Durham, Ladysmith Black Mambazo, Michael Franti & Spearhead, Midnight Oil, One Perfect Day, Rueben ‘Hurricane’ Carter, Tim Rice, Uncle Lionel Rose, Violent Femmes, Vusa Dance, Wynton Marsalis, Yothu Yindi and John Kani from Johannesburg’s Market Theatre.

Lee Hunt, Committed Artists founder, has lived and worked with Australia’s Indigenous communities in the Tanamai Desert, Arnhem Land, Far North Queensland, Preston, St Kilda and Fitzroy.
